Learn about indicaters and gauges in instrument panel/meterboard that are used while driving.
Indicators
- Comes on when the parking brake is applied, and goes off when it is released.
- Comes on when the brake fluid level is low. If the light comes on while driving or even after releasing the parking brake, check the brake fluid level.
- If the ABS warning light lights up at the same time, immediately have it checked at a Honda dealer.
Oil pressure warning light
- Lights up when the engine switch is turned to II and turns off when the engine starts.
- Lights up when the pressure of the oil that lubricates the inside of the engine drops while the engine is running. Comes on while driving - Immediately stop in a safe place.
PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) warning light
- Lights up when the engine switch is turned to II and turns off when the engine starts or after several seconds if the engine is not started.
- Lights up when there is an abnormality in the engine's exhaust gas control system.
- Flash when a misfire in the engine’s cylinders is detected.
