- Charge the battery by driving for at least 30 minutes once a
month. If you do not drive for a long time, the IMA battery will be discharged or the life will be shortened.
- Do not repair the IMA system by yourself. The Honda
IMA system uses a high voltage of 100V, and there is a risk of electric shock if you disassemble it. Consult
a Honda dealer for inspection and repair.
- Keep the cargo compartment away from large amounts of water, oil etc to prevent risk of liquids damages. The
IMA battery under the cargo compartment may fail, the IMA system warning light may illuminate.
- Do not block the cago compartment cooling air intake. If the cooling air intake is blocked, the temperature of the
IMA battery will rise, which may lead to a drop in the output
of the IMA battery. Also, do not put water or foreign objects
into the duct. The IMA battery may be damaged. The IMA system warning light and charging warning light
may illuminate.
